My small object was my roommate's red-and-black stapler. DON'T TELL HER I USED IT. It was small and portable, and the contrast between the metal mechanics of the stapler and the red rubber worked beautifully with the natural afternoon light through the window. I snapped from multiple angles, but the stapler looked best when not shot head-on. The shots I chose to embed in the blog are mostly taken from different degrees, they show off the actual mechanisms of the stapler as well as its length natural asymmetry.
